The exhibition is jointly organized by China Cultural Relics Newspaper and nearly 50 museums and other units around the world. Hundreds of photographs of tiger-related cultural relics, specimens, works of art and other photographs vividly show tigers in the natural world and tigers in history and culture. For example, a picture of a saber-toothed tiger fossil from the museum's collection leads the audience through time and space, back to ten thousand years ago, and feels the bravery and majesty of the forest king. "Saber-toothed tigers lived about 11 million to 10,000 years ago, and their size ranges from large to small, and the common feature is that the upper canine teeth are particularly long, the large teeth are about 120 mm, and when the mouth is closed, some species of upper canine teeth are exposed." Miao Yuyan, director of the museum's exhibition planning department, said that the specimen is currently stored in the museum's herbarium, but several similar saber-toothed tiger fossil specimens are on display in the museum's ancient mammal exhibition hall.

The Natural History Museum also exhibits 16 specimens of Siberian tigers and South China tigers. Among them, the specimens of 10 South China tiger cubs are particularly eye-catching, and 10 "little tigers" are lying on their stomachs or lying down, with bright eyes and lively and agile. Miao Yuyan introduced that the South China tiger is considered to be a subspecies that has become extinct in the wild, so the specimen of the South China tiger is very precious.
