Tickets will be issued on April 8 for the Polish Film Masters Exhibition, which will take place from 24 April to 28 April, bringing six classics directed by four masters of cinema. The jiefang daily and shangguan news reporter learned from the Shanghai Art Film Alliance that the films screened in this master exhibition are all new digital restoration versions. It is worth mentioning that this master exhibition also received enthusiastic responses and strong assistance from Polish partners, who produced embedded Chinese subtitles for each film.

The "Polish Film Masters Exhibition" will present the works of the four representative film masters of the "Polish Film School" in different styles, including "A Generation", "Sewers", "Night Train", "Sister Joanna", "Zaragoza Manuscript", "Hero" and so on.

Both A Generation and Sewers are from the "War Trilogy" by Andşi Vajda, the "father of Polish cinema." "A Generation" tells the story of a small-town youth who participated in resistance activities with their friends during World War II, and after being called by party members and cadres, joined the underground organization and completed dangerous tasks again and again without hesitation.

"Sewers" tells the story of Polish soldiers who were surrounded and suppressed by the Germans, so they had to switch to the sewers, but the Germans constantly released poison gas into the sewers, making the Polish soldiers miserable, in the dark sewers, when is the head?
The two-part black comedy Hero comes from the talented director Anjay Munch, who died young. The film is divided into two stories, the first telling the story of a volunteer trainer who accidentally becomes a messenger between Hungary and the Warsaw rebels after fleeing during World War II, and the second telling the story of a successful escaped officer in a German prisoner-of-war camp who becomes an example for other Polish prisoners of war.
The social suspense film Night Train and the psychological thriller Sister Joanna are two masterpieces directed by Yelzi Kavalerovich, one of the founders of the "Polish Film School".

The Polish Film Masters Exhibition is the first Polish national film masters exhibition of the Shanghai Art Film Alliance. In April 2021, the Shanghai Art Film Alliance enriched the activities of the "Weekly Film Festival" with three Chinese and foreign film festivals, including the "Polish Film Masters Exhibition", including the "Red Light and Shadow of the Centenary Theme Film Festival" and "Thai Author Film Week".
