For the first time, the Milky Way discovered a new object with a super magnetic field

On January 27, Beijing time, the internationally renowned academic journal Nature published online a research result of a collaboration between Australian and Chinese researchers, which was the first time that a new object with a super magnetic field was discovered in the Milky Way through the SKA pilot telescope. The research team believes that if more objects with similar characteristics can continue to be detected and their physical properties revealed, it may mean that there is a class of long-period stars with super magnetic fields in the Milky Way, which will help us fully understand the evolution and death of stars.
