Diabetes has accompanied me through 47 Spring Festivals, and now I am 80 years old and my body is still very tough. Every Spring Festival, I do these things well.
1. Adhere to a controlled diet
Spring Festival is the traditional festival of the mainland, I face the dishes with good color and flavor on the table, keeping in mind that I am a diabetic who must control my diet, only to eat high protein, high fiber, low sugar, low fat, low salt diet, do not dare to eat too much big fish and meat, do not smoke, drink less.
Nuts such as melon seeds and peanuts should not exceed 1 handful per day.
2. Insist on exercise
Life is in motion.
Exercise can lower sugar, lower fat, lose weight, etc., and exercise is a hypoglycemic drug that does not cost money.
No matter how busy I am during the Spring Festival, no matter how lively my home is, and how cold the weather is, I have to go out to exercise morning and evening, do "Fitness Exercises", no less than 40 minutes each time, rain or shine, and thunder can't move.
3. Insist on taking medication on time
Whether I am eating at home or going out to a banquet, I insist on taking injections and antidiabetic drugs on time and in accordance with the dosage, so that my eating and medication are consistent with my intake to prevent high blood sugar and low blood sugar.
4. Stick to 8 hours of sleep
No matter how busy I am, I sleep for 8 hours at night and 1 hour at noon during the day. During the Spring Festival holiday, try to stay up late as little as possible, staying up late will raise blood sugar.
5. Persist in fighting the epidemic
Actively respond to the call of the party and the government to prevent foreign imports and internal anti-proliferation, stress hygiene, love cleanliness, wear masks when going out, wash hands with disinfectant when returning, do not travel, do not participate in rallies, do not go to crowded places to join in the fun, do not believe in "road news", do not believe in rumors, rumors, do not rob shopping funds, and do not raise prices.
