I accompanied the Xi'an Charity Network Ride-hailing Lei Feng Volunteer Service Team and a group of 4 people under the leadership of Captain Hai set off from Xi'an and drove to The Wucun Temple Primary School in Lantian County again to visit and comfort the left-behind children. After arriving at the primary school, we joined two other volunteer teams, plus the local volunteer Director Meng and the principal of the primary school, and our team quickly grew to 10 people.
Today's main task is to send supplies and care to the six left-behind children and the severely disabled Liu Hongbo of Wucunmiao Complete Primary School. We brought rice, noodles, instant noodles, masks, milk, drinks, and gloves knitted by volunteer Ji Yanni herself.
I don't know when there was an additional left-behind child in the name of the child. As the name suggests, left-behind children refer to minors under the age of 16 whose parents are going out to work or one of whom is not capable of guardianship. They generally live with their father or mother or with relatives and friends of their elders or even their parents. Most of the students at Wucunmiao Complete Primary School are left-behind children. About three months ago, the captain of the charity network car-hailing sea organized car lovers and volunteers in the society to raise funds to buy basketballs, skipping ropes, notebooks and various books urgently needed by the school, to send love to the school, to hold a party with the children on campus, to make dumplings for the children to have lunch... This time, through the contact between captain Hai and the school and Murakami, six left-behind children were selected for care. Our group went to visit a first-grade boy whose father was accidentally injured and whose mother was gone, and the little boy was also slightly mentally deficient, his language function was affected, coupled with his low self-esteem, and he rarely communicated with people... We told him to actively cooperate with the treatment, talk more, and it will be fine in the future, and the little boy smiled at us. Then I looked at the next one, a very beautiful little girl in the third grade. Her mother died when she was a child, and her father lived with her grandparents when she went out to work, and the well-behaved girl spoke very well. Another second-grade boy's home, his mother is severely disabled in the lower limbs, by carrying a small bench on the ground to walk, see him when she is helping the family to do things, more sensible children. Wait, these left-behind children should have been innocent and lively to learn and grow up, but they prematurely bore the burden of life that should not belong to them...
Left-behind children are a prominent social problem in recent years, and they need the care of the whole society and deserve to be cared for.
