It is reported that the plant is currently responsible for the production of Volkswagen ID.3, Volkswagen ID.4, Volkswagen ID.5, Audi Q4 e-tron, Audi Q4 Sportback e-tron and Cupra Born a total of 6 pure electric products based on the MeB platform of Volkswagen Group, with an annual production capacity of more than 300,000 units.

According to the senior people of the Volkswagen Group, the Zwickau plant has completed the capacity increase of a total of 6 products for the three major brands in only 26 months, and in 2022, the Volkswagen Group will continue to accelerate the electrification transformation. According to the plan, in 2022, the Volkswagen Group will produce about 1.2 million pure electric models based on the MEB pure electric platform at its plants in China, Europe and the United States.
