News of Apple's VR/AR devices has been around for a long time, with the first product reportedly being a standalone headset with a high-resolution display and the equivalent performance of an M1 Pro processor. Recently, iOS developers found a trace of realityOS, the operating system the device is running, in the App Store upload logs.
There are many rumors that Apple plans to officially announce this product this year, possibly at WWDC in June or at the autumn new product launch. However, Bloomberg previously reported that Due to technical challenges in hardware, Apple may postpone release until 2023.
The discovery of realityOS in app store logs seems to indicate that Apple's headsets contain standalone app stores for developers to provide AR or VR apps.
