"Boundary": Maintain the original intention, break the cocoon into a butterfly

It is such a girl whose talent and rationality are one, she is not only a rational procedural engineer but also a poet, prose, and painting. She is the author of "Boundaries" - Hu Gang

She is a test architect, holds a master's degree in computer science at the University of Pennsylvania, and is a member of the North American Chinese Writers Association. Columnist for International Student magazine. Her prose has won several awards. She also showed her talent in painting, and her paintings have been selected for international exhibitions many times.

In the book "Boundary", she grows through the memories of the narrative of one story after another, and the series of light and shadow are connected. Each of her experiences exudes an aura of annual rings, from sour to sweet, so that the reader understands the author's deep meaning.

01 Maintain your original intention

From the time we were born like a blank piece of paper, different environments have created a different life for us.

There is no smooth sailing on our life path, there will be many tribulations and setbacks, only after experiencing setbacks and blows, can we truly understand the meaning of life, look at family, love and friendship.

In The Boundary, the author tells the story of growing up as a child. In school, she encountered the exclusion and cold eyes of her classmates, which made her feel inferior, but in the end she would choose to forgive the past. In the workplace, let her experience the indifference of people, but she chooses to stay away, and will not let those things finally change her position.

In this way, we accept all this, and thus turn into motivation, face the unsatisfactory in life with a stable mindset, and look for our own goals.

02 We have dreams in our hearts, and it is never too late to do it

In the past, "learn mathematics, physics and chemistry well, and walk all over the world without fear", before we applied for the college entrance examination, we would give up our preferences and expertise and choose the road paved by adults. And so is our author, who loved to draw as a child and wanted to paint every day.

In school, our teachers more than once told us to focus on our studies and get into good high schools and colleges. The author Hu Gang gave up his hobby - painting for this, and in the university examination, his father let him apply for the computer, because this major had opportunities in employment opportunities.

After countless struggles, Hu just chose a computer. In the years of college, she worked hard to make achievements in the field of computing. In the end, I went abroad, went to graduate school, joined IT, and had a seemingly decent life.

Until one day, Hu just entered the art supply store, and his heart that loved painting was awakened by it: some parts of life are for others to see, in order to satisfy their vanity, let others envy life and work, and dreams belong to themselves.

So she picked up the brush again, although the process was arduous, but the feeling of comparing the previous skillful writing was no longer there, but she was not discouraged.

There is no standard for dreams, and there is no need to squander time and wealth, as long as there is a firm belief, temporarily give up their dreams for life, we can also start over, fight for the dream once.

Live for yourself and don't care what other people think

From childhood to adulthood, we will care too much about the opinions of others and wronged ourselves, for example: in the blind date, obviously do not like each other, because of family reasons, plus their own age, they will marry each other hastily.

In the book "Boundary", the author is also constantly wandering in these contradictions, but after experiencing some things, she does not care about other people's opinions.

Write at the end

In the book "Boundary", we see Hu Gang's pursuit of dreams, and through the memory of the narrative of one story after another, we show the author's broken cocoon into a butterfly in the past.
