We all know that cancer is the result of a combination of environmental and genetic factors. Some people smoke and drink every day, as usual, there is no problem, while some people have healthy living habits, but they have cancer, which makes people very dazed and feels that they can't touch their heads.
Of course, the living environment is on the one hand, and genetic factors also play a key role in the pathogenesis of tumors. However, for people with a family history of cancer, don't worry too much. Some cancers have a high genetic risk, but that doesn't mean everyone will inherit it. Moreover, the vast majority of cancers are not inherited, and only about 10% to 15% of cancers are caused by heredity.
Theoretically, hereditary carcinogenic factors are divided into the following two types:
Brake: That is, no matter what the cause of cancer, when the human body lacks a certain braking mechanism, it will make the cells of these cancers go further and further towards the vicious road, this braking mechanism is generally referred to as "tumor suppressor gene".
Throttle: When some kind of carcinogenic throttle in the human body is stepped on, the car will go down a certain cancerous road. These throttles are generally more well-defined "oncogenes".
If there is a cancer patient in the family, then other relatives should start a systematic physical examination 5-10 years before his age of onset. In particular, the families of the following five types of cancer patients must be vigilant, check the body on time, and prevent diseases.
First, breast cancer
According to epidemiological investigations, 10% of breast cancer cases are family inherited, and if there are close relatives with breast cancer, the risk of disease is 3 times higher than that of ordinary people.
For such high-risk groups, they should go to the hospital for regular examination, early diagnosis, early detection, and early treatment.
2. Bowel cancer
In addition to being related to daily diet, bowel cancer is also inseparable from heredity. If a parent in a family has colon cancer caused by multiple colon polypoma, the child has a 50% chance of developing the same cancer. Genetic risk is very high and must be highly vigilant.
In the daily diet, pay attention to reducing the consumption of high-fat, high-protein foods, while maintaining sleep and active exercise, will greatly reduce the risk of bowel cancer. Such high-risk groups should go to the hospital every three years for colonoscopy to prevent the occurrence of bowel cancer.
3. Stomach cancer
The genetic factors of stomach cancer are not as high as those of bowel cancer, but the incidence of family history is still 2-3 times higher than that of the general population. Stomach cancer has a very high incidence of cancer and a high fatality rate.
For people with a family history of stomach cancer, it is necessary to go to the hospital regularly for stomach examination, early detection of lesions, and early targeted treatment.
4. Liver cancer
Liver cancer is very common in life, if the parents have liver cancer, then the children must pay attention. In our country, because of the vertical transmission of hepatitis B virus, a significant proportion of patients with liver cells will have familial aggregation.
Therefore, children of liver cancer patients, regardless of their health status, should have a comprehensive liver examination. Daily life should pay attention to not smoking, not drinking, eat less moldy food, and maintain good eating habits.
5. Thyroid cancer
Thyroid cancer has a certain hereditary nature, relatively speaking, if someone in the family has thyroid cancer, the probability of other family members having thyroid cancer is much higher than that of the general population.
There are many reasons for this disease, genetic factors are not the main cause, mainly because of the day after tomorrow because of the living environment, radiation is relatively large, iodine intake is too much, or bad living habits caused.
You can't prevent cancer from happening, but at least you can detect cancer in advance and get the most effective treatment for yourself. If you don't want cancer to find you in the future, you must pay attention to a healthy diet, moderate exercise, weight control, and regular physical examinations to maximize the distance from cancer.
