Beijing's Beihai Park is a great place to be secluded. But most tourists gathered around the White Tower and Tuancheng to play. However, there are also a large number of very distinctive royal buildings hidden in the north of the North Sea, which are very worth visiting.
In addition to the famous Nine Dragon Wall, there is also an extremely rare golden silk nanmu hall in China - the Great Ci Zhenru Treasure Hall. This Nanmu Hall is the main hall of the Beihai West HeavenLy Brahma Realm (the Great Western Heaven of the Beihai, the Imperial Buddhist Scripture Library of the Ming and Qing Dynasties). Of course, in terms of volume, specifications and rank, it is inferior to the Nanmu Hall of the Taimiao Temple and the Changling. However, its most precious place is that it is a "pure" Nanmu Hall.
One is the "pure" Nanmu Hall. In addition to the roof and eaves, from the inner columns to the beams, from the lintels to the window lintels, all made of precious gold silk nan wood. The emperors of the Ming Dynasty seemed to have an unusual fanaticism for the love of Nanmu, and built a large number of buildings of Nanmu material. So much so that the precious tree species that have only been able to grow for thousands of years have been harvested. By the time of the Qing Dynasty, even if the Qianlong Emperor, who was very happy and meritorious, wanted to complete a set of Nan wood materials, it was quite difficult. It is impossible to have Nanmu inside and out like the Great Ci Zhenru Treasure Hall.
The second is that the Nan wood of the Great Ci Zhenru Treasure Hall is "pure" color, retaining the color of the Nan wood log, and there is no paint and oil paint. In order to restore and match the coordination of the original color of the Nanmu, on the roof of the heavy eaves of the Nanmu Hall, a very rare black glazed tile is also used to cover it, and the edge is outlined with yellow glazed tiles, which is very low-key and luxurious. From a distance, the main hall is against the background of the green pines, and the faint golden light of the golden silk nan wood is transmitted from the tan logs, showing the super grandeur of grace and luxury.
After the careful "cleaning" and "repair" of the main hall by modern ancient architecture experts, although it has a history of 500 to 600 years, it is still like new, and every tourist who is fortunate enough to visit here will feel its elegant temperament and emit a faint wood fragrance. Where is this palace, like a super-large Ming and Qing Dynasty furniture, such a valuable national treasure -- "furniture", of course, can only be owned by the royal family at that time!
