Spring Festival in 1992, a prison in a city in the north.
On this day, the prison organized more than 300 criminals to reunite with relatives and friends to spend the Spring Festival together.
The second from the right is a female prisoner, but she shaves her head flat. On the table were two plastic lunch boxes, filled with dumplings. Next to it is also placed a glass jar, probably vinegar.
The little boy on the second left may be her child, looking about 4 to 5 years old, sensible he used chopsticks to pick up a dumpling and send it to the mouth of the female prisoner's mother, and the mother looked at the child and took a half bite of the dumpling.
Next to the two of them were two female relatives, and they were very relieved to see the scene of mother and son getting together.
In the background are three uniformed prison staff.
