Therefore, many citizens who go to the sub-center choose to take the free Guangqu Road, but if they encounter the evening peak, it will cause congestion under the Tongzhou Yangzhuang Viaduct.

In the future, the Beijing-Harbin Expressway widening and reconstruction project, Guanyintang Road, and the western extension of the Beijing-Qinzhou Expressway (East Fifth Ring Road - East Sixth Ring Road) will be completed one after another, and more and more expressways connecting the central urban area and the sub-center of the city will be completed. Inside the urban sub-center, through the transformation of the urban sub-center section of the East Sixth Ring Road and the transfer of the functions of the national highway, the east-west trunk roads such as Luyuan Second Street will be built, and the north-south trunk roads such as Yile West Road will be improved, and the "eleven horizontal and nine vertical" backbone road network system will be basically built.

The old town of Tongzhou should also open up a number of broken roads, build a number of micro-circulation roads, and improve the efficiency of road traffic operation. The rapid internal and external transportation links in key areas such as Universal Theme Park, Canal Business District, Zhangjiawan Design Town, Taihu Performing Arts Town, and Songzhuang Art Town will also be strengthened to create an urban landscape avenue.

For the "parking difficulty" problem that the public is concerned about, in the future, the old town of Tongzhou will mainly share parking spaces and moderately make up for the gap in basic parking spaces. Construct 7 public parking lots, including the Tongma Road Transportation Hub Parking Lot, and pilot research on the use of underground space and under-bridge space to build social public parking facilities. Promote the sharing of special parking lots such as government agencies, state-owned enterprises and institutions at the wrong time. Promote full coverage of electronic toll collection for road parking.
