11-year-old girl writes "cover letter" to President Joe Biden, I'm going to be the "Justice"
As soon as U.S. Superior Justice Stephen Breyer announced his retirement, President Biden immediately announced that he would elect a female justice of African descent.
The presidential nomination is still in the making, and some people have volunteered to ask the president to consider giving him a chance.
Madison Morgan, an 11-year-old girl, wrote a cover letter to the president a few days ago.
Morgan said, "There has been a curriculum introducing the functions of government since the fourth grade of elementary school, and being a justice is not particularly formal, it all depends on the president's words." So, I thought, why not try your luck? ”
When asked if she was qualified for the position, Morgan did not hesitate. She said, "This country doesn't give children a voice, just give them a little chance!" ”
Morgan's parents were proud, excited and surprised that she could take the lead, and felt that the child was very insightful.
Still in grade 6, Morgan knows that her background is not strong enough, and she has her own alternative career. She said she was perfectly okay if the president didn't want her to be a justice. She also wants to be an astrophysicist, and she says she's also interested in space things.
A White House spokesman said the "cover letter" had been received and that Morgan was clearly smart, talented, and would accomplish great things in the future. However, the speaker declined to comment on the judges' screening process.
Morgan said she had an advantage. The home is close to the High Court, only a few streets away, and it is easy to commute to and from work.
