Hubei Shishou Fishery Administration and Changhang Shishou Institute carried out law enforcement inspections of prohibiting fishing

In order to do a solid job in the "ten-year fishing ban" work on the Yangtze River and effectively protect the ecological environment of the waters under its jurisdiction, in the early morning of October 14, the Comprehensive Agricultural Law Enforcement Brigade of Shishou City, Hubei Province, and the Changhang Shishou Police Station jointly carried out a law enforcement patrol of prohibiting fishing.

During the operation, law enforcement officers conducted carpet inspections of key waters such as the Bayi Mindi waters of the Shishou Section of the Yangtze River and the waters of the Shishou Yangtze River Bridge, focusing on checking whether there were illegal fishing personnel and boats on the Yangtze River, removing fishing gear on the river surface, and persuading illegal anglers on both sides of the river to leave. During this law enforcement inspection, a total of 6 law enforcement personnel were dispatched and 23 illegal fishing personnel were persuaded to leave, further purifying the ecological environment of the first section of the Yangtze River.
