In today's game, the Chinese team sent Shang Jincai, Hades Badri Khan, Liu Rongsheng and Tsering Zhandui to play. According to the rules of the game, one person departs every 30 seconds, and Tsering takes the 73rd place. After fierce competition, in the end, Tsering Zhandui finished the race with a time of 43 minutes and 22 seconds 2, ranking 63rd.

Among the four Chinese players, Shang Jincai, who had the best performance, ranked 41st, while Liu Rongsheng, Hades Badri Khan and Tsering Zhandui ranked 47th, 57th and 63rd respectively.

After the game, Tsering Zhandui was interviewed by a reporter from Tibet Daily for the first time.

Regarding the performance of today's game, Tsering Zhandui said: "Through the early training preparation, adjusting today's game to my best state, it is already great to show myself in such a high-level event, and I enjoy the game. ”

Tsering Zhandui is a native of Xiaqu Town, Nagqu City, Tibet, and is the oldest of the family's 6 children. "If it weren't for ice and snow sports, I would probably be just an ordinary high school student now, and it was ice and snow sports that changed my life." Tibet is rich in ice and snow resources, the development of ice and snow sports, has unique conditions, Tsering Zhandui feels that he has the obligation to help his hometown develop ice and snow sports, "we always say that we are the children of the snowy plateau, and there is a natural affinity for ice and snow, the next time I go home, I plan to take my ski equipment with me, let the children in the township touch and see, what is skiing, give them a video of my competition, let them see the wider world outside." I'm sure there will be plenty of kids with better talent than me who can change their lives through ice and snow sports. ”

The ice pier is very popular in the athletes' village, and Tsering Zhandui did not buy it: "When I buy it, I want to give the ice pier to my mother, I have rarely come home after training outside in recent years, I miss my mother, I believe my mother will also like it." When it's time off, go home and spend time with your parents. ”

In the future, Tsering Zhandui will continue to prepare for the World Cup, the World Youth Championship and other international high-level events: "I believe in my potential, as long as I work hard enough, the results will definitely improve a little." ”

Cross-country skiing is a basic event in snow sports, and there is a certain gap between the mainland and the developed and strong teams in Europe and the United States from the past results. The Beijing Winter Olympics is the first time since the International Snow Federation revised the competition rules that it has achieved full-event participation. In 2018, China Cross-country Skiing formed China's first cross-country skiing national training team through cross-border cross-border cross-country selection of talents, and this team is composed of Athletes of Han, Uyghur, Tibetan and other ethnic groups, all of whom are "post-90s" and "post-00s".

Standing on the Olympic field, you have already made history!

In the coming days, Tsering Chandui is also expected to participate in the cross-country skiing men's 4×10 km relay on February 13 and the cross-country ski men's 50 km collective departure (free technology) on February 19.

Looking forward to Tsering's next wonderful performance.
