At 10:30 a.m. local time on February 8, 2022, CRRC International Company, CRRC Qi Che Group Qi Che Company and Tanzania Railway Company signed a contract for the supply of 1,430 central standard gauge railway trucks in Tanzania. According to the contract, Qiche will complete the construction of 1430 railway wagons for the Tanzania Railway Company. This is the first batch of product orders obtained by Qiche Company this year, and it is another masterpiece of CRRC's implementation of the "Belt and Road" initiative.

The 1,430 railway wagons signed will be used in the Central Standard Gauge Railway, which is under construction in Tanzania. The railway is an important sea passage connecting Tanzania with Neighboring countries such as Uganda, Rwanda and Burundi to the Indian Ocean, and is also an important part of the planning network of the Central Corridor in East Africa. When completed, the railway will enhance Tanzania's transportation capacity and significantly reduce transportation costs in inland areas.
