Shi Pengfei, a native of Xiaoxigou Village, Caiqi Town, Minqin County, suffered from a variety of diseases such as blue toe syndrome, ankylosing spondylitis, rheumatoid arthritis, etc., and could not take care of himself. However, he is a disabled person, who has loved calligraphy since childhood, and has become a self-taught talent, and has participated in many national calligraphy competitions and won awards. A brush and a blank piece of paper were the main items of his creation, and although he was seriously ill, the pain did not crush him. His passion for calligraphy added a lot of color to his ordinary life.

In 2020, he participated in the second national "Wang Xi's Cup" calligraphy and painting competition, won the third prize in the calligraphy group, and became a member of the Wang Xizhi Research Society; in 2021, he participated in the national "Glory Jiangshan Cup" calligraphy and painting competition and won the second prize in the calligraphy group; in July 2021, he participated in the fourth national "Wei Lady's Cup" calligraphy and painting competition and won the second prize, was awarded the title of "Chinese Calligraphy Hundred Masters", and became a researcher and expert review silver medal of the Chinese Wang Xizhi Cultural Research Alliance. He was also awarded the title of "Famous Scholar of Calligraphy and Painting". Won the first prize in the 2021 "Brilliant Huaxia Cup" National Calligraphy and Painting Art Competition. His works have been included in the "Appreciation of Works of Famous Artists of Chinese Contemporary Art" for many times, and many works have been collected by people from all walks of life.
