IT House has reported that as early as last December, NVIDIA released the RTX 2050.
Nvidia said the RTX 2050 is the latest addition to the GeForce RTX 20 series of laptop lineups. Powered by RT Core, Tensor Core, and NVIDIA Encoder encoders, these new laptops support features such as ray tracing, NVIDIA DLSS, Reflex, and Broadcast. The RTX 2050 also works seamlessly with NVIDIA Optimus technology, allowing users to strike the perfect balance between long battery life and optimal performance.
The misleading naming of the RTX 2050 is actually part of the RTX 30 generation, powered by the same GA 107 GPU core of the RTX 3050.
The RTX 2050 is a 2048 CUDA core, 4GB of 64bit GDDR6 video memory, 30-45W. For comparison, the RTX 3050 is a 2048 CUDA core, 4GB of 128bit GDDR6 video memory, 35-80W.
It is currently known that Lenovo's 2022 ThinkBook 14/16 and Mechanical Revolution's Boundless 16 notebook will be equipped with the RTX 2050 display.
