On February 16, the Solar and Heliospheric Observatory (SOHO) captured a rare astronomical wonder, and two comets were connected in tandem to rush toward the sun one after the other.
Unfortunately, the two comets disintegrated as they approached the Sun, and the first to disintegrate was a smaller comet in front, which evaporated first, and the next to disintegrate was a larger comet in the back.
Both comets are from a massive comet formed by the disintegration of the comet Kreutz, and in recent times, kreutz debris has rushed towards the sun almost every day due to the gravitational pull of the sun, ranging from a few meters to tens of meters in diameter.
