Poetry with technique, empathy with dance. It was learned from Liangjiang New District that from February 24 to 25, the contemporary acrobatic dance drama "Hua Di" will be staged at the Chongqing Grand Theatre.
The play takes the classic love story of "Liang Zhu" as the baseline, blending acrobatics and diverse art forms. In the play, Guangzhou Acrobatic Art Theater has created many new creative projects, including ballet discs, collective fan dance, umbrellas, male and female high poles, shaking bars, brush skills, funny drill boxes, etc. It is worth mentioning that the use of ballet on the shoulder has played a finishing effect on the whole play, thus setting off the unique artistic effect of poignant romance.
In the stage design, "Butterfly" is committed to the organic integration of traditional image expression and modern aesthetics, using a large number of circles and lines, supplemented by bamboo, moon, cloud and other images, for diversified combinations, elegant atmosphere, so that the stage is full of poetry and rhythm; in terms of color, the overall tone is mainly gray and white, the gorgeous colors of the traditional acrobatic stage are diluted, and the minimalist stage concept carries a rich cultural and aesthetic connotation.
In the costume modeling, the color of collision and contrast is used to give the audience a stronger visual impact and the enjoyment of beauty. At the same time, drawing on traditional theatrical art, combined with the needs of the plot, the use of water sleeves and other elements in some costumes shows the aesthetic and romantic effect, reflecting inheritance and innovation.
In the plot of "Transforming Butterflies", the play combines the butterfly imagery in holograms through shoulder ballet, aerial suspension, jiu-jitsu techniques, etc., to comprehensively display and emphasize the butterfly imagery, the process of butterflies breaking the cocoon and transforming butterflies, and the love story between Liang Zhu that spans life and death, pushing the whole play to a climax.
