Ding Lianyi, pen name Yifeng, character Mingchang, bei signed to listen to the master of bamboo, national first-class artist, born in 1958 in Qingdao, Shandong, graduated from Qingdao Normal Art, member of China Artists Association, member of Shandong Provincial Artists Association, vice chairman of The Chinese Contemporary Calligraphy and Painting Research Association, director of Qingdao Academy of Calligraphy and Painting, vice president of China (Laoshan) Taoist Calligraphy and Painting Institute.
In the past 40 years of art study and creative practice, he has been guided by Zhang Peng, Jiang Baoxing, Sun Zengdi, Cai Shenglu, Yang Beirong and other famous calligraphers and painters of the predecessors, and has solid basic painting skills and skillful artistic skills. Outstanding achievements have been made in flowers, birds, figures, landscapes, calligraphy, murals, sculptures and so on.

His paintings do not conform to the rules, strive for innovation, based on the expressive function of traditional pen and ink, and fully display the personalized characteristics of modern art, integrating national traditions, characteristics of the times, and personalized style into one, forming a fresh and free, simple and natural artistic face. In recent years, he has completed the architectural mural design and painting projects of Qingdao Taitung 3rd Road Pedestrian Street and Tianmu Food City, and won the Shanghai Guinness Award. In 2011, he completed the 21-meter granite sacred spring Guanyin statue in Pingdu, and completed the relief sculptures of "Qingdao Guanyin Temple" and "Island Guanyin", in 2012, he completed the sculpture landscape project of "Eight Immortal Caves" in Pingdu Development Zone, and in 2009, his calligraphy works won the gold medal in the National Calligraphy and Painting Competition commemorating the 60th anniversary of the creation of Mao Zedong's poem "Seven Laws and the Occupation of Nanjing by the People's Liberation Army". He was also awarded the honorary title of "Top 100 Masters in the Field of Chinese Calligraphy and Painting Art" and included in the "Grand View of The Works of Famous Artists of Contemporary Chinese Calligraphy and Painting".
In 1986, in the calligraphy and painting competition organized by the Chinese Ministry of Culture, his Chinese painting "Dashing Linfeng" won the bronze medal. In 1990, his calligraphy work "Tang Poems" won the bronze medal in the calligraphy and painting competition organized by the Chinese Ministry of Culture. In 1989, he won the "Qindao Cup" Best Award for Fine Art Works.
The work "Amphibian" participated in the "National Exhibition of Chinese Paintings" on September 19, 2008 and was selected as a selected work. The Chinese painting "Between Landscapes and Rivers" was selected for the "11th National Art Exhibition of Chinese Paintings" on October 23, 2009. It can be seen that people love lychees, one is because the lychees are delicious, and another reason is because the lychees have some auspicious meanings that people yearn for, such as "Lizi", "Auspicious", "Dolly", etc. In the works, the lychees are in full bloom, a scene of harvest, a string of heavy hanging down, the representative of the fiery red lychee is the head, and the painter uses the brush technique to portray it very carefully.
