Today I will find a right angle bend point and show you four different right angle inverting techniques.
First look at the first invert demonstration:
The starting point of the reversing car is located on the right side of the lane, when reversing to the bend, the cornering point is centered on the cornering point to reduce the turning radius as much as possible, and we look at the occupation of the road behind the reversing turning point and straightening the car.
Hang to the gear to start looking at the right rearview mirror reversing, hit the right back corner to find the bending point, according to the distance between the right rear corner and the bending point to determine the amplitude of the direction, as long as there is a distance between the body and the bending point, you can always hit the right direction until the full direction, so that the right rear corner close to the bending point to turn over.
As the rear of the car turns to the right, you can see that both the front wheels and the front of the car are arcing to the left. The position of the arc top of the arc in the left front corner of the front of the car represents that the aisle has at least this width, so that the maximum width that can be achieved can be achieved by reversing the corner.
It can be seen that the top position of the arc occupies more than half of the entire width of the aisle. This way of reversing close to the right side requires less width of the aisle at the beginning of the turn.
Next I went to observe at the end where I was about to turn around. From the end of the curve, you can see that the rear of the car is slowly turning the corner,
However, after turning the corner, the right side of the car body did not fall backwards along the right side of the line, the rear of the car was reversed all the way to the side of the center line, and the left rear wheel pressed over the center line before straightening the body.
Throughout the turn, the front wheels can see that the direction is always in a state of full to the right. From this, I can see that the start of the invert is on the right, and the end of the invert is on the left.
Next, let's look at the second bending demonstration: this time the right side of the vehicle is about 1.2 meters away from the bending point column.
Hang up the inverted gear and start to hit the right direction, look in the rearview mirror to find the bend of the pillar,
Until the direction is full to the right, let the rear right corner of the vehicle turn over the bend.
From the end of the curve, you can see that the rear of the car is slowly turning the corner,
This time, after turning the corner, the farthest point of the left rear wheel did not cross the centerline, and the left body was turned upside down along the right side of the centerline, and returned to the right direction after straightening the car.
The front wheel is also always full to the right throughout the turning process. From this, we can see that the body is more than one meter away from the right side line at the starting point, and at the end of the turn, the width of the right lane alone is enough. That is to say, reasonably increasing the width of the starting aisle can effectively save the width of the end aisle. The farther to the right of the starting point, the farther left the finish line is; the farther left the starting point, the farther to the right of the finish line;
Next, let's look at the third invert demonstration to see if the starting point is further to the left and the finish line continues to move closer to the right. This time we set aside about 1.2 meters of distance between the left body and the left parking space sideline.
Hang up the inverted gear to start looking at the right rearview mirror, according to the distance of the right column, hit the direction to the right until the direction is full,
You can see that the front left corner of the vehicle almost rubs the left column when drawing an arc to the left, which indicates that the use of this aisle width has reached its limit.
This time, after turning the corner, the entire rear of the car was in the right lane, close to the center of the position all the way over, and the body straightened and stopped. This time it is enough to use the width of the starting aisle, as close as possible to the left side of the turn, this time, it can be said that the end of the lane is only one lane wide is enough.
Through the above three tests, it can be summarized as follows:
The first method starts from the right and the end point to the left, which is suitable for right angled bending sites with narrow starting aisles and wide finish aisles;
The third method, the starting point is left and the end point is right, which is suitable for right angled bending sites with wide starting aisle width and narrow end aisle;
The second method, the starting point is centered, the end point is also centered, this method is suitable for the starting point and the end point are relatively wide the field, reversing can be more casual, do not have to worry about the left side of the front scratch, do not have to worry about the right side of the body scraping.
In real life, there is another kind of venue that is the most difficult, that is, the width of the aisle at the starting point and the end point is not very rich, and it cannot complete the turn in any way, so is there any good way?
I will give you another demonstration, this mainly teaches you how to complete the invert by returning to the direction. The vehicle is on the right side of the aisle, assuming that the aisle is not as wide as it is now, hang up the reverse gear to start, hit the right direction,
Observe the right inflection point from the right rearview mirror, after the rear turn point of the car, because the width of the lane at the other end of the bend is limited, worry about the left rear corner to the wall on the left side of the aisle, at this time back to the positive direction of the stop,
Hang up the forward gear and hit the left to take a step towards the front and stop back in the right direction. The magnitude of the forward car depends on the width of the aisle and the obstacle in front.
At this time, the amplitude of the vehicle swinging to the right is not as large as just now, hang up the reverse gear again to observe the bending point in the right rearview mirror, and reverse in the direction of hitting the right.
In the back of the car you can see the right rear wheel turning backwards along the bend,
The vehicle is in the right lane just in the center. This means that even if only the width of the aisle on the right side of the finish line can be completed by this method, the right angle invert can be completed.
