Fox News Digital confirmed that Cheryl Burke, a pro for Dancing with the Stars, filed for divorce from Matthew Lawrence.
Court records obtained by Fox News Digital show that Burke, 37, applied for dissolution of the marriage in Los Angeles District Court on Feb. 18. The professional dancer cites "irreconcilable differences."
Burke listed the couple's separation date as January 7.
The divorce petition also indicates that Burke and Lawrence signed a prenuptial agreement a few days before their marriage.

Burke's representative did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital's request for comment.
Burke and Lawrence married on May 23, 2019. The two first met in 2006, when Lawrence's brother was a contestant in Dance with the Stars. Burke and Lawrence had a brief date but later broke up.
The two reunited in 2017, and a year later Lawrence proposed on Montage Laguna Beach.

According to People magazine, Lawrence and Burke were happily married at the Fairmont Grand Del Mar Hotel in San Diego, California. According to the exit, Burke was wearing a Romona Keveza dress with a skirt length of 6 feet.
"The wedding was a surreal climax," Lawrence told the media in May 2019. "I feel like I'm the happiest person on the planet."
Burke added: "It's bittersweet because I'm really sad it's over. But at the same time, it is calming down. I feel like that's exactly what we need to happen. ”

Court documents show the couple have no children, though Burke previously told People magazine that she did want Lawrence's children.
"I want kids," Burke told the media before the wedding. "[When we get back together] it's like, 'Let's not waste any time.'" Time is running out! '”
