In addition to performance upgrades, the Vantage safety car is equipped with a side-mounted radio antenna, an LED rear license plate, and a custom roof LED light strip. Drivers and passengers can use the FIA's marshalling system, which displays lights corresponding to any warning signs displayed on any part of the track.
Meanwhile, the DBX re-emerged as a medical vehicle, with Aston Martin making unique modifications to it. These include FIA-approved racing seats with six-point harnesses, a marshalling system and a television screen that allow doctors to watch the race in real time while sitting in the pit lane. The trunk will also carry fire extinguishers, defibrillators and large medical kits.
"I and the whole company are proud to see our cars play a key role in Formula One," said Tobias Morse, CEO of Aston Martin Lagunda, "Vantage and DBX will be present in 12 Grand Prix this year, and while I hope they won't be called on often in the race, we all know that they will be busy again as F1 enters this new era." We are so happy that they can participate in the show! (Text: Pacific Auto Network Liu Yunqing)
