Sometimes the ancients inadvertently left something to their descendants, which in modern times may be priceless or even unique. This is the case with the Zhao family in Zhengmu Village, Qingzhou, Shandong, where Zhao Huanbin has a cultural relic handed down from his ancestors, and that cultural relic was written by his ancestors. However, its significance is not comparable to that of ordinary ink treasures, and due to its particularity, the Zhao family has not told others for more than four hundred years. But a village living, it is always possible to inadvertently reveal it, this is not, to Zhao Huanbin's generation, the people in the village know that his family is hiding a treasure.
However, the people in the village had never seen the treasure, so it was a joke to listen to, but once, Wei Zhensheng, an expert at the Qingzhou Cultural Relics Management Office, heard about it. At that time, his hometown was full of priceless treasures, so he ran to inquire about the news. The first time, Zhao Huanbin was still reluctant to say, directly saying that there were no antiques, and let him go to other homes to find them. The second time he learned that the original Zhao family's ink treasure was most likely a yuan scroll, which was not good, you know, in ancient China for more than a thousand years, there were only more than six hundred yuan in total.
The ancient scrolls are classified and basically will not be circulated, and after the fall of the dynasty, these things will either be destroyed or destroyed in war. The National Palace Museum in Taipei has several copies of the Qing Dynasty's yuan scrolls, but the only one that is more than four hundred years old is still the only one, that is to say, the Zhao family has only one copy in the world. Such precious cultural relics did not exist at that time, so Wei Zhensheng began to run frequently to the Zhao family, bitterly persuading. He did not want to get it himself, but hoped to put it in the museum for preservation and hand it over to the state, but after going there more than twenty times, Zhao Huanbin refused to let go.
The last time, that is, the 24th time, Wei Zhensheng persuaded again that there was no one, where to put China's face? This is the proof of culture, you keep it is useless, it is better to hand it over to the country, everyone will not forget your good. Speaking of which, Zhao Huanbin finally let go, and he trembled and took out the treasure that had been handed down from his family for more than four hundred years. Donated to the museum of Qingzhou City, the Qingzhou Museum was later selected as a national first-class museum as a county-level comprehensive museum, and it is inseparable from the reason why this volume is here.
It was a Ming Dynasty Scroll, which modern people call Zhao Bingzhong's Scroll, and it is the true handiwork of Zhao Bingzhong. The volume dates back about 420 years, and the full text is written in small letters, and it contains the imperial letter of the Wanli Emperor. Regardless of its significance, this handwriting alone is very neat and clean, and the handwriting is very clean, which is probably much better than many modern calligraphers. This is an important document for the study of the mainland imperial examination system and the history of the Ming Dynasty, and it is a unique volume for more than 400 years, and its value is naturally endless.
