Together with the Wushan Cavity, Haicai Cavity and Yam Cavity, the Yi Four Chambers are known as the "Four Loud Voices of the Yi People in Southern Yunnan", which are mainly spread in the Yi settlements of Eshan, Tonghai, Huaning and Jianshui and Shiping in Yuxi City. The four chambers have singing forms such as singing in unison, lead singing, duet singing, rapping, etc., and their tunes are sometimes high-pitched, sometimes soft, the rhythm is soothing, the singing method is unique, and the singing difficulty is greater. Among them, the combination of true and false voices, the alternation of lead singing and helping voices are the most significant features of four-chamber singing.
