During her college years, Elizabeth often made some pocket money by playing roles in commercial television, and she became a scene in the Burger King, DeBeers Diamond and Hellman's mayonnaise commercials, eventually discovered by scouts and entered the film industry in 1983.
Elisabeth Shue was born on June 10, 1963 in Wilmington, Delaware, to a wealthy, well-educated family, with three brothers, including Andrew Shue, a television actress. Despite having a well-educated family, her parents divorced when Elizabeth was in the fourth grade, and perhaps that's what left her and her brothers unruly and restless all day. Later, Elizabeth attended Wesley Women's University, which restrained her behavior.
