"Peritoneal dialysis is an appropriate technology for home treatment of patients with uremic dialysis under the normalization of the epidemic, which can minimize the frequent travel of patients to the hospital." Among them, automated peritoneal dialysis is a new type of peritoneal dialysis treatment technology that has developed rapidly in recent years, but the application rate of this latest appropriate technology in China is less than 2%, far below the international average." Chen Xiangmei, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and director of the National Center for Quality Control of Nephrology, suggested at this year's two sessions.
Academician Chen Xiangmei.
Academician Chen Xiangmei believes that at present, the development of abdominal dialysis therapy faces certain obstacles in reality. For example, the lack of peritoneal dialysis at home and its Internet telemedicine charging standards and columns, the vast majority of provinces and cities lack of medical staff that occupy the main content of peritoneal dialysis medical services, the main medical cost of peritoneal dialysis is peritoneal dialysate, accounting for 90%, the current medical institution management requirements of the proportion of drugs and medical revenue regulations, limiting medical institutions to carry out peritoneal dialysis. The medical devices and consumables required for automated peritoneal dialysis are not included in the national medical insurance system, etc.
In this regard, Academician Chen Xiangmei made suggestions: from the national level, put forward the charging standards for peritoneal dialysis and its Internet telemedicine, and guide provinces and cities to formulate corresponding charging standards and columns in combination with the economic development of the region. Promote the establishment and implementation of peritoneal dialysis medical staff diagnosis and treatment fees and columns from the national level. Reform the proportion of peritoneal dialysis-related drugs and the charging standards of medical institutions, increase the benefits of medical institutions and medical personnel to carry out peritoneal dialysis, and establish an incentive mechanism. Incorporate home peritoneal dialysis and its Internet telemedicine into the national medical insurance system, and establish corresponding reimbursement systems and programs.
