Today, March 10 is Mario Day every year – because the English abbreviation "Mar 10" on March 10 is similar to Mario's name. LEGO has also just released a new Super Mario set: Peach Blossom Princess Castle.
LEGO launches "Limited Bundles, Exclusive VIP Rewards, and More" sets at Mario Day, including at least one brand new set. The image appeared on lego's official social media and, while quickly deleted, gave us our first glimpse of this year's newcomer.
Princess Peach Blossom will join Mario and Luigi's digital puppet lineup, presumably in her own entry-level set, although it has not yet been officially announced. Judging from the previously leaked pictures, this should be a buildable Peach Blossom Princess Castle, and many bricks to piece together Mario characters.
Rumors of a small LEGO Princess Peach Blossom Castle set have been around since last year, but it ended up as a 71395 Super Mario 64 question mark brick.
According to the leaked photos, we can see that the set also includes Huang Chinobio, the Boomerang Brothers, Ludwig, Gabon, and familiar faces such as Cool Overlord and Chinobik.
It is estimated that LEGO will officially announce this set later today.
