On March 11, the reporter learned from the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers that the production and sales of the domestic new energy vehicle market in February were 368,000 units and 334,000 units, an increase of 2 times and 1.8 times respectively year-on-year. From January to February, the production and sales of new energy vehicles reached 820,000 units and 765,000 units, respectively, an increase of 1.6 times and 1.5 times year-on-year, respectively. According to the analysis of the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, the overall performance of new energy vehicles is still outstanding, maintaining rapid growth year-on-year. From the perspective of market share, from January to February this year, the market share of new energy vehicles was 17.9%.
Specifically, in the first two months of this year, the production and sales of pure electric vehicles were 652,000 and 604,000 units, respectively, an increase of 1.4 times year-on-year; the production and sales of plug-in hybrid vehicles were 168,000 units and 160,000 units, respectively, an increase of 2.8 times and 2.5 times year-on-year; the production and sales of fuel cell vehicles were 356 and 371 units, respectively, an increase of 5 times and 3.1 times year-on-year, respectively.
