"Journey to the West" is broad and profound, many details in it are worth recalling, there is a problem that I don't know if everyone has considered, that is, after the sutra team came to the Great Lei Yin Temple, the accompanying four values of Gong Cao Wufang revealed the six dings and six jia and others to the Guanyin Bodhisattva, saying that the task was completed. As a result, the bodhisattva resulted in a small book, and found that it should have been nine nine eighty-one difficulties, and the result was only 80 difficulties, Buddhism pays attention to the nine nine return to the truth, and the difference is not completed, so Guanyin Bodhisattva immediately made a remedy, sent someone to stop the person who was sending the Tang monks to tang, and after whispering, the king kong cast a spell to leave the sutra collection team in the Tongtian River, and the result was that the old turtle slid his head and directly let the Tang monks and the scriptures turn over in the river, completing the last difficulty.

So the question is, even if it is eighty-one difficulties and one less difficulties, why did Guanyin Bodhisattva choose the last difficulty in the Quicksand River, and other places are not good? A pot of porridge believes that Guanyin Bodhisattva has always been far-sighted, and this must have a deep meaning, and the specific reasons, a pot of porridge will try to analyze it.
First of all, these eighty-one difficulties are not less than one difficulty, Guanyin Bodhisattva is by no means a temporary intention, but there is a pre-arrangement, there is a basis for saying this, first, when the Buddha said in public about the matter of taking the sutras, it was Guanyin Bodhisattva who took the initiative to ask for help to promote this matter, she has always been conscientious as the head of the sutra collection team, almost every difficulty is related to the bodhisattva, there are obvious examples in the original work, such as Sun Wukong in the Wuzhuang Temple to tear down the ginseng fruit tree, Zhenyuan Daxian did not panic at all, because as early as many years ago, Guanyin Bodhisattva once experimented with Taishang Laojun to restore the willow branches that had been roasted in the alchemy furnace to their original state, so we can see that these disasters are within the control of the bodhisattva. Second, almost every time Sun Wukong asked Guanyin Bodhisattva for help, the Bodhisattva was confident, saying that I already knew your intentions, so it can be seen that the Bodhisattva knows every difficulty.
Six-eared macaque
Friends may have doubts, this six-eared macaque Guanyin Bodhisattva can not be determined, can not distinguish between true and false, in fact, not, do you remember that Guanyin Bodhisattva once gave Sun Wukong three life-saving hairs? This millihair is very different from the hair of Sun Wukong itself, and the other millihairs in the yin and yang two gas cylinders are burned soft, but these three hairs are still stiff, so if nothing else, just rely on these three hairs to distinguish between true and false Sun Wukong. In fact, it is not that the bodhisattva cannot surrender the six-eared macaque, but the bell must also be tied to the bell, as analyzed in the previous article, these six ears are trained by the Buddha, and the bodhisattva cannot cross the line.
It can be seen that the bodhisattva is well aware of the eighty-one difficulties, so this last difficulty is not forgotten, but premeditated, it should have happened in the Tongtian River, so the question is, why does it have to be the Tongtian River? Because the foundation has long been laid here, as long as a pot of porridge lists some details in the original work, everyone will understand.
First, there is a problem with the old turtle of the Tongtian River asking the Tang monks, and in the original work, the old turtle instructed the Tang monks as follows:
I have been practicing here for more than 1,300 years; although I am light in life and can speak human language, it is difficult to get rid of my shell. Teacher Wanwang went to the Western Heavens to ask the Buddha, see when I have to get out of my shell, but I can get a person.
And when the Tang monks returned to the Tang Dynasty and passed through the Quicksand River, the old turtle said this:
Teacher Father, I went to the West to see my Buddha Rulai, and asked me how many years I had to live, and did I ask?
The first question is to ask when you can cultivate the human body, and the second question is how many years can you live, the two questions are completely different, you say how to let the Tang monk answer, even if the Tang monk really asked Rulai, I am afraid that the old turtle still denies it, he will sly argue that what makes you ask is life span, who asks you to cultivate the human body. You have to turn Old Don into the water. If it is not rehearsed beforehand, can the old turtle come up with such a good idea? Then this old turtle should have cultivated a human body a long time ago, and still needed to ask tang monks?
Goldfish essence
Second, after Guanyin Bodhisattva surrendered the goldfish essence, he did not leave immediately but destroyed all the fish and shrimp in the Tongtian River. What is the purpose of this? It is afraid that these fish and shrimp will leak the heavenly machine and will make a joke and leak. Moreover, after there are no other beings in the Tongtian River, it is also convenient for the old turtle to play a rogue himself, otherwise if Tang Monk really asked, Sun Wukong would only need to catch the fish and shrimp around the old turtle and confront him, and the truth could also be revealed.
Therefore, the 81st difficulty was arranged in the TongtianHe, and with the strength and memory of Guanyin Bodhisattva, she would forget the eighty-one difficulties or less difficulties? Some friends may say, why not set the eighty-first difficulty directly on the road, in fact, the whole disaster is acting, and the last difficulty is forgotten, temporarily supplemented to appear more real, do the play to be a full set.
