On the afternoon of March 11, the mainland's J-10CE arrived safely in Pakistan, and Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan personally attended the assembly ceremony of the first batch of 6 J-10CE held by the Pakistan Air Force in Kamra.
This matter has attracted much attention on multiple platforms, not only because this incident is another friendship experience between the mainland and Pakistan Railway, but also an international affirmation of the mainland's J-10 fighter jet.
The J-10 fighter is the first fighter on the mainland that is completely independent and has independent intellectual property rights, and in 2005 it was officially equipped with troops and formed a structure and systematically formed combat effectiveness in a very short period of time.
The successful development of the J-10 aircraft has enabled our army to have the ability to compete with foreign advanced fighters in active service, and has realized the historical leap of our army's aviation weapons and equipment from the second generation to the third generation.
It can be said that the emergence of the J-10 fighter is of great significance to the mainland's aviation weapons and equipment.
Subsequently, the successor improved version of the J-10 has been gradually introduced, and some local details of the fuselage have been improved, so that the performance of the aircraft has also been greatly improved. On July 16, 2011, South Korean Defense Minister Kim Kwang-jin also visited the Cangzhou Flight Test and Training Base of the Chinese Air Force, which was the first time that the J-10 Base was made public.
The 2019 J-10CE fighter was unveiled at the Dubai Air Show, which is also the first time that the J-10CE fighter has appeared at a major foreign air show.
The J-10CE is the export version of the J-10C. This is a typical third-and-a-half-generation fighter, or 3+ generation fighter, which should belong to the 4+ generation fighter according to foreign standards. For a long time, the domestic equipment model was not exported with a military number, but a special export type number, such as the J-7 export type is FBC-1.
The J-10CE uses the duck layout mode, the basic type of J-10 has been slightly aerodynamically modified, using a DSI intake tract with light weight, high intake efficiency and good stealth performance, the nose has been optimized, the power level has been improved, and the maneuverability has been improved. In particular, advanced phased array radars, new infrared search and tracking devices and electronic warfare equipment, as well as a new generation of airborne weapons, are used.
By using the DSI intake tract, it will be able to play a good shielding effect on the engine blades, prevent direct radar waves, if the invisible coating is used, the cockpit is metal coated, the radar reflection cross-section can be greatly reduced, becoming a quasi-stealth fighter, which is currently F/A-18E/F, French "Rafale", Sweden "Gripen" commonly used concept.
J-10CE fighter is an all-weather, single-engine, single-seat, multi-role three-generation + fighter independently developed by the aviation industry, which belongs to the safety and defense weapon products, with a strong system of coordinated operations, advanced over-the-horizon multi-target attack in a strong electromagnetic confrontation environment, and multi-mode precision strike capabilities; with excellent low- and medium-altitude maneuvering combat, supersonic flight, short take-off and landing, large combat radius, long range and air fuel absorption capabilities; equipped with advanced integrated avionics systems and weapon systems. Plug-in weapons are highly capable.
Pakistan is a traditional customer and important partner of China's aviation arms trade products, and has been equipped with Chinese fighters such as J-6, J-7, and Qiang-5.
In the 21st century, China and Pakistan have also cooperated with Pakistan in developing the single-engine, all-weather, light multi-role third-generation fighter FC-1 "Dragon" in accordance with the "four communists" principle of joint investment, joint development, shared risk and shared benefits.
This time, the J-10CE fighter delivered to the Pakistan Air Force will become a new chapter in the cooperation between China and Pakistan in the field of aviation defense after the K8 and FC-1 "Dragon".
