IT House March 17 news, according to MacRumors, reliable display analyst Ross Young reiterated his belief that Apple will launch a new product with a 27-inch Mini LED display around June, although another analyst, Guo Mingxi, claims that Apple is unlikely to launch a new Mini LED product this year.
On Wednesday, Guo said apple may not have a new Mini LED product in 2022 due to the cost of purchasing technology.
Kuo believes that only Apple's existing Mini LED products, such as the 12.9-inch iPad Pro, may be updated in 2022, but he said that he does not expect any other size of products to adopt or transition to more advanced display technology.
In a clear response to Kuo's predictions, Ross Young later tweeted that he remained "confident" that the 27-inch Mini LED display would appear in a new product apple launched in June or around, but said he wasn't sure what Apple would call it.
Previously, Ross Young hinted that the product might be studio Display Pro, though he acknowledged it was just a guess. Ross Young also said he thinks Apple will use the 27-inch Mini LED panel "to some extent" this year. Ross Young said he has confirmed the product's existence with several companies in Apple's supply chain and reminded everyone today that the consulting firm has "called up every Mini LED product apple has made to date."
In March, Apple released a combination of Mac Studio and Studio Display displays.
Apple discontinued its Intel-based 27-inch iMac this month, raising doubts about whether a larger iMac will be added to Apple's lineup. Rumors vary as to whether Apple is working on an iMac with a larger screen, so the company's plans are unclear at the moment.
