On March 18, bydir's high-end brand Denza officially released a preview of its new MPV models. The new car is a medium and large MPV with a high model positioning, or will be officially unveiled at the Beijing Auto Show in April this year.
Judging from the trailer, the new car adopts BYD's evolved version of the dragon face design, and the new chrome grille shape is very good in visual effects. The shape of the light group is integrated with the extension of the grille, and it reflects a good unity, and the logo still hangs the "Denza" brand.
Combined with the previous spy photos, the front height and thickness of this new MPV are very full, and the grille and the front cover are 90 degrees in shape, and the aura is full. In terms of size, the length of the new car is expected to reach 5200mm and the wheelbase is more than 3100mm.
As a symbol of high-end MPV models, the electric sliding door used by Denza MPV hides the slide slot, and the integrated coherent side circumference is more visually outstanding. At the same time, it can also improve the safety and tranquility of the vehicle. The through-line taillights at the rear of the car are equipped with lightning streamer elements, which can still see the DNA of the BYD brand and are highly recognizable.
The interior of the new car has not been officially disclosed, according to the previous spy photos, the new car will be equipped with an independent full LCD screen and a central control large screen, as well as an integrated seat shape, the overall light color is the mainstay. The new car will have a "2+2+3" 7-seat layout, with the third row completely flat.
There is not much news in terms of power, and it is currently known that the new car will provide pure electric and hybrid two power mode models, of which the hybrid model is expected to be equipped with DM-i hybrid system, and the endurance will exceed 1000 kilometers.
In terms of price, the new car is expected to enter the range of 450,000 yuan to 500,000 yuan, and will be benchmarked against high-end MPV such as Toyota Alpha and Buick GL8 Aivia.
At present, BYD has secured the sales throne of new energy models below 300,000 yuan, and Denza's MPV will be another trump card for BYD to move towards high-end.
