Director Zhang Liying introduced that the mother was full term, and the obstetric examination during pregnancy was normal, because the membrane was ruptured prematurely, so she was hospitalized early. After the mother was admitted to the hospital, the labor progressed normally and the painless delivery was initiated, and after the mother's uterine opening was fully opened, the nurse in the delivery room found that the woman had chest tightness and discomfort, bruises on the lips and immediately called for help.
The woman was bruised at the time, with a heart rate of 170-180 beats per minute, and the preliminary judgment was that the woman was a malignant arrhythmia. In order to ensure the safety of the mother, Wang Fangfang, the chief nurse of the delivery room, immediately called the MDT team, including the neonatology department, anesthesiology department, and ICU doctors, immediately rushed to the scene to observe the situation of the mother, timely rescue, pressurized oxygen, mask oxygen, prepared tracheal intubation, injected cardiotonic drugs... After a comprehensive assessment of the situation of the mother and the fetus in the womb by Director Lu Dan and Director Zhang Liying, it was decided to use fetal aspiration to deliver the fetus.
Under the "escort" of more than 20 medical staff in the comprehensive department, the mother successfully delivered nearly 8 pounds of baby boys, and the mother's heart rate also dropped to 130-140 beats per minute, and then the mother was pushed into the ICU for real-time monitoring.
During the delivery, the doctors analyzed the blood gas and found that the woman had obvious acidosis manifestations, and after a series of treatments, the metabolic indicators of the mother gradually improved until the afternoon of the same day. After returning to normal on the 16th, the mother was transferred to the general ward.
It is understood that malignant arrhythmia refers to hemodynamic disorders caused in a short period of time, prone to blood pressure drops or even shock, insufficient blood supply to important organs such as the heart, brain, kidneys, etc., which is the main cause of sudden maternal death and cardiogenic shock. Zhang Liying told reporters that due to the heavy burden on the heart of normal pregnant women, especially in the 32-34 weeks of pregnancy, during childbirth and during puerperium, it is very easy to suddenly develop malignant arrhythmias. In order to prevent the occurrence of such a situation, Director Zhang Liying called on pregnant women to undergo a regular physical examination during pregnancy and strictly control the weight of the fetus, thereby reducing the burden on the heart of pregnant women and reducing the time spent holding their breath during childbirth.
