IT House Reported on March 23 that Stalker 2 studio GSC Game World, a team from Ukraine, said they would move to Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic, to complete the game development.
The game Stalker 2: Heart of Chernobyl was originally scheduled to be released on April 28, and in January this year, it was officially announced that the jump ticket would be released on December 8.
After the outbreak of the Russo-Ukrainian War, GSC Game World in Kiev, the capital of Ukraine, was greatly affected, and according to Czech journalist Pavel Dobrovsky, the team is planning to move from Kiev as a whole to Prague.
IT House learned that Dobrovsky's message was backed by Czech website Vortex, which claimed to have confirmed with its own sources that GSC Game World was applying for permission to move the studio to Prague.
Stalker 2: Heart of Chernobyl will land on PC and Xbox Series X/S platforms, and after such turmoil, the release date of December 8 may not be guaranteed.
The game is set in the second nuclear reactor explosion in 2006, when the Chernobyl blockade was completely unrecognizable. Filled with brutal mutants, deadly anomalies and warring factions, the blockade takes on the role of a solo stalker as you explore a lifelike open world in a 64-square-kilometer radiation zone, with environments on the map reflecting the devastation of the post-apocalyptic days from different angles.
