Clear water and blue sky
Lu Su/Wen
Spring is for the people of the mountains. There are mountains, there are fields, and there are streams and ponds.
Spring can run around without tall houses and traffic; it can also scribble everywhere, and any color can be presented on a leaf or a petal whenever it likes. When it was tired, it went to lie by the stream and listen to the sound of the water; when it was idle, it drew its eyebrows against the pond. The big banyan tree at the mouth of the village and the mustard grass at its feet, the small sun-facing dirt bags or the wet old tiles are all favorite places to go in spring.
In the spring, I can sit in the mountains whenever I want, and I am not afraid of the running plough to wrinkle its new clothes. Anyway, it has new clothes every day, and it can't be worn out.
Bamboo baskets, hoes, flower jackets and people in the mountains are all spring furniture. Bamboo baskets for mothers to pick rice, hoes to grow vegetables for fathers, flower jackets to make sisters look good. Spring is arranged like this, and the sky turns blue day by day.
And I'm in town and don't know when the swallows will come back. The calla lilies on the table are all my springs.
