Nanmo Middle School Symphony Orchestra is the first symphony orchestra for middle school students in Shanghai, and one of the first-class symphony orchestras for middle school students in China, which has made presentation performances in the Great Hall of the People and won the first prize of the National Primary and Secondary School Art Exhibition for many times. It is also a world-class middle school student orchestra, which has performed abroad many times and won international awards such as the "Vienna International Youth Music Festival Gold Medal" for many times.
After years of training, the orchestra has been able to play famous Chinese and foreign symphonic works that are difficult and familiar to the majority of listeners, forming a playing style that is mature and full of youth and vitality.
