Bild: Effenberg is no longer sporting director in Udingen, just 223 days from his appointment

Recently, the German newspaper Bild reported that just 223 days after taking office, the 51-year-old sporting director of Udingen Club Stefan Effenberg left office. In the club's brief announcement, there was only one sentence: "At the request of Stefan-Effenberg, he has left the club Udingen. Bild argued that Effenberg's own mutual praise with Udingen when he took office was "hypocritical."

Currently, Udingen are playing in the Bundesliga and, after 27 rounds of matches this season, they have temporarily accumulated 39 points and are 11th in the table with a record of 11 wins, 6 draws and 10 defeats. In Udingen's squad, there are players such as Dort's veteran, World Cup winner Gros Kreuz, and Bayern veteran Kirschhof, who is still serving as the team's captain.

Speaking about his departure from Udingen, Effenberg once said: "We worked together to solve the problem. "However, is this really the case? First, Bild reviewed the scene when Effenberg joined the team's management. At the time, mikhail Bonomalev, a 45-year-old club manager, said of Effenberg: "Stefan (Effenberg) is a good partner for me, he is a teamwork talent with excellent professional skills, no matter what happens, he will work at the Udingen club at least for the next two years." ”

At that time, in response to Bonomalev's praise, Effenberg responded: "I feel very touched by Mr. Bonomalev's honesty and enthusiasm. Even when it was first reported on the matter, Bild added a rather joking headline to the matter: "How true is this intimate language?" Now, however, good praise is not the case with the facts, and Bild argues that in many ways Effenberg's work in Udingen was problematic from the start, and summarized several major aspects of the problem:

First of all, employees at Udingen have accused Effenberg of not understanding the working environment, specifically, Effenberg is not very clear about the working patterns of clubs in the Bundesliga, Bundesliga and regional leagues, and he is only acquainted with a few of the players. So, the employees believe that the transfer from Effenberg (who is the team's sporting director after all) has been delayed by his ignorance.

What happened later reflected Effenberg's unprofessionalism. During the winter break, Effenberg organized a training camp for the team in Italy. Curiously, however, the hotel chosen by Effenberg did not have supporting training facilities, which seemed very inconvenient for a team that came to winter training.

6 km away from that site, there is an alternative site, but the facilities in that place are still not available. In the end, after only 36 hours in the training camp in Italy, the entire Udingen team chose to leave. Effenberg did not think much about it, and he did not even personally examine the facilities at the winter camp site.

Now, Effenberg has left the club Udingen, arguably a "nother failure" in his move to club management. In 2016, he was the head coach at Paderburn, a failed one. However, one thing remains strange: the players in Udingen didn't even know through the news that Effenberg had left.

Bild wanted to talk to Effenberg about leaving the job by talking by phone, but after the call came, Effenberg hung up the phone with a smirk. According to Bild, it is not at all surprising that such a thing happened, that Effenberg's tenure at Udingen was like his dealings with the media, which is not something he is good at.
