Even though Curry has returned in the series against the Nuggets, in an interview, Curry revealed that he is still suffering from a left-foot injury:
At present, the Warriors already have a 2-0 lead in the series against the Nuggets, so what Curry needs to do more is to nurse the injury and prepare for the next playoff series.
On the other hand, Warriors boss Joe Lacob sneered in an interview at the Lakers' choice of fully recruiting veteran players when building the lineup:
"There are several teams, I wouldn't say which one, these teams are going all out to recruit veteran players, but older players are really more likely to get injured, that's something you have to remember, as long as you're over 30, 32 or 35, these guys are prone to injury, that's the stats.
There is nothing wrong with Lacob's statement, even if veteran players can bring experience to the team, but these veteran players are more likely to suffer from injuries, just like this season's Lakers, veteran players' injury problems led to the Lakers ultimately missing the playoffs.
Finally, Draymond Green said in an interview that he was looking forward to Stephen Curry and Jordan Poole being in the starting lineup at the same time at some point in the playoffs:
Jordan Poole is undoubtedly one of the Warriors' best players so far this season, and his small-ball lineup with Curry does allow the Warriors to play very top-notch on the offensive end, and it remains to be seen whether Curry and Poole can be in the starting lineup at the same time.
