In August this year, the original drama "Red Sorghum Family", based on Mo Yan's novel of the same name, will be put on the stage by the Jiangsu Grand Theatre. The Modern Express reporter learned that the drama was guided by the Propaganda Department of the Jiangsu Provincial Party Committee of the Communist Party of China and the Propaganda Department of the Shandong Provincial Party Committee of the Communist Party of China, planned by the Jiangsu Cultural Investment Management Group, produced by the Jiangsu Grand Theater, and jointly produced by Fairchild Drama.
From its first publication in 1986 to the present, Mo Yan's "Red Sorghum Family" has gone through 36 years in various art forms. For the adaptation of the drama version, Mo Yan said that he is very much looking forward to it, "The content and way of presenting it are different from the movies, TV series and various local dramas of "Red Sorghum". ”
Mo Yan also sold a close with the audience, and did not make too many spoilers for the focus of the adaptation.
