However, some archaeologists have put forward a hypothesis that the hugging posture is likely to be caused by tomb robbery. It's cold, but it makes sense. There are very few artifacts in this ancient tomb, and it is likely that tomb robbers have patronized it, and in order to rummage for valuable things, they have moved the corpses, causing them to hug each other. Moreover, Guyuan City was remote, but it was the central area of Northern Dynasty rule at that time, so it was impossible for "martyrdom" to appear.
