Xu Qizheng, born in 1961, a native of Nanjing, Jiangsu Province, is an engineer and a second-class builder. He graduated from the Air Force Anti-Aircraft Artillery School, the Party School of the Jiangsu Provincial Cpc Committee and the Cadre Correspondence College of the Party School of the CPC Central Committee. Since childhood, he has loved calligraphy and painting, and since the age of fourteen, he has studied under Mr. Xu Chunyuan, a famous calligrapher, painter, connoisseur of ancient cultural relics and calligraphy and painting, and was selected to study at the Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts during his military period. For more than 40 years, he has studied and created, painting landscapes, flowers, birds and calligraphy. His works have been published in the army and local newspapers and magazines many times, and have participated in many exhibitions inside and outside the province. He is currently a member of jiangsu artists association, vice president and secretary general of Nanjing Songfeng Calligraphy and Painting Institute.
