At present, the North SaiKeller Museum has a collection of more than 13,000 pieces, most of which are typical specimens of Chinese archaeology in various periods, such as stone tools from the Zhoukoudian site, representative artifacts of different archaeological cultures in the Neolithic era, Oracle bones of the Shang and Zhou Dynasties, and bronze and jade artifacts excavated from the Jinhou Cemetery in Qucun, Shanxi. These collections began in the 1920s at the Guoxuemen Archaeological Research Laboratory of Peking University, and then successively brought together the collections of the Museum of Peking University and the Museum of Prehistory of Yenching University, as well as teaching specimens obtained by Peking University from field archaeological excavations, artifacts allocated by various cultural relics and museums in China, and donations from cultural relics collectors at home and abroad. In addition to the Teaching Specimens of Chinese Archaeology, the North Sackler Museum also has more than 600 Western prints including works by Western masters such as Dürer, Rembrandt, Matisse, Picasso, etc., and has the most complete Western printmaking collection system in China.
