Lighting expert Peter Barna selects luminaires based on convenience, flexibility and beauty. "When the lights come on, it should make people feel like they want to read, and let the lights repay you with a quiet and humble light."
Three of the ten luminaires are part of the collection of the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York. Many of the models of lamps and lanterns have been changed to various forms such as floor lamps, table lamps, and wall lamps.
