Respawn has announced that Apex Legends Mobile will land on Android and iOS devices later this month.
The studio shared the news on Apex Heroes Mobile's official Twitter account, writing: "Apex Heroes will bring something fresher. Pre-register and get ready... It will be put into operation later this month! "
As of now, the official release date has not been given. However, Respawn encourages players to pre-register to get regular updates about game releases and the opportunity to play the game faster.
While the core of Apex Heroes mobile games is a battle royale game that players know and love, Apex Legends game director Chad Grenier said fans can expect some changes. According to Granier, "Apex Heroes mobile game is specifically designed for touchscreens, and its streamlined controls and thoughtful optimizations make it the most advanced battle royale combat gaming experience on mobile phones." This is a new version of Apex Legends, but it's faithful to the original."
The Apex Heroes mobile game will also provide players with new battle passes, collectible items, and unlockables. As a result, the mobile version will not support cross-platform online games with the Xbox, PlayStation, PC, and Switch versions of Apex Legends.
Previously, Respawn also released a new game trailer for Season 13 of Apex Legends. In addition to new skins and enemies, new heroes have been added to the upcoming season, with the 13th season starting on May 10.
