Recently, the official website of world snooker (WST) announced the new sponsor of next year's (2023) Snooker World Championship, namely the British online car seller CAZOO. Fans are no strangers to CAZOO, with 6 events sponsored by CAZOO this past season, namely the Crown Championship, the British Championship, the World Grand Prix, the Masters, the Players' Championship, and the Tour Championship. In the new season, two more sponsored events have been added, namely the British Open and the World Championship.
