Rule Content:
All PRODUCTS approved by BIS, its final label rating must be consistent with the submission of BIS registration, it is strictly forbidden to modify the registered product label information without authorization, and the offender may lead to cancellation of the registration number;
Causes of the rule:
A small number of customers provide approved key parts when submitting the whole machine registration in order to obtain the approval of the whole machine, and use the key parts that are not approved by BIS when actually shipping;
or
At the time of registration application, the key piece information provided by the customer and the key piece information that has been obtained by BIS are inconsistent, resulting in BIS raising a challenge to delay the case review cycle;
Example of violation:
Led lights When applying for BIS, the specification information of the LED Driver submitted by the customer and the specification information approved by BIS are inconsistent, resulting in the delay of the case, as shown in the following figure:
Precautions:
In view of such circumstances, the customer is required to submit the BIS certificate and report corresponding to the key pieces at the time of application for our company to verify in advance;

1) On the product and on the packaging (both) should be marked as follows, and the font is Arial, the font size is not less than 6 number:

b>StandardMark
c> registration certificate number (if the registration number cannot be marked below the Standard Mark due to size or other reasons, it can be marked at the parallel of the Standard Mark)

2) On the product or on the packaging or on the product label (choose one of the three) should be marked as follows:
a> product name
b> model
c> batch
d> date of manufacture
e> the manufacturer's detailed address
3) StandardMark is clearly visible under normal lighting conditions, prominent position, not easy to wear, tamper-proof, and immobile;
4) StandardMark applicable colors:
a> any solid color
b> or a combination of red, blue and black
i) Printing requirements: "Oriental Blue" and "Monopol Red" as required in IS1222:1992, "Ink, duplicating for twin cylinder rotary machines (3rd revision);
ii) Signage requirements: "French blue" (No.166) and "Red" (No.537) as required in IS 5:1994, "Colours for ready mixed paints and enamels ( 4th revision)
5) In addition to The Standard Mark, BIS may require the old label "self-declaration ofconformity to IS XXXXX" to be added to the product or outer packaging; for special products, BIS may require manufacturers to comply with other labeling requirements other than the above three; BIS reserves the right to interpret this.
6) A device with an integrated display and a non-removable device that allows the use of the Standard Mark electronic tag on the display to replace the identification of the device itself, but the outer packaging must still be carried out in accordance with the requirements of Article 1.

Rule Content:
BIS India accepts electronic labeling for any device with an integrated display that presents Standard Mark and other labeling information in place of labels on physical products.
Notes:
1) The display screen must be integrated with the whole machine and cannot be disassembled or sold separately;
2) The electronic tag is voluntary, the customer can choose to use the physical tag or the electronic tag, or the physical tag and the electronic tag can exist at the same time;
3) When using electronic labels, there can be no physical labels on the product body, but there must be physical labels on the outer packaging of the product; for bulk equipment instead of separate packaging, removable adhesive labels can be attached to the surface of the equipment;
4) Do not require any special accessories/tools or supplemental plug-ins (e.g., installation of SIM/USIM card) to access the electronic tag;
5) The electronic tag should be compiled by the responsible party and fixed in the menu, easy to access and cannot be modified.
6) The user does not need special access codes or permissions, and in all cases, the access steps do not exceed four steps;
7) The manufacturer is obliged to provide the user with specific instructions on how to access, which should be included in the user manual, operating instructions, or as an insert in the product packaging or other similar means;
8) If access instructions can be obtained on the product website, instructions on how to access the website should be provided in the user manual or packaging of the product.
9) All applicable regulatory information required in the packaging or user manual shall be displayed electronically in accordance with the rules.
10) If the primary user manual or user guide is provided by, for example, other electronic media (e.g., CD or online access), this information may also be part of the electronic tag;
11) The "StandardMark" of the electronic tag shall comply with all relevant requirements in the CMD 3/8:1/6975 Identification Rules issued by BIS on December 3, 2015.

As of July 1, 2016, products entering Indian Customs are no longer allowed to use the old logo "SelfDeclaration-Conforming to IS XXXX:XXXX. (Standard number), R-XXXXXXXX (registration number).
Products without the StandardMark label will be detained and will need to be released by customs after the Manufacturer's Indian branch or agent has affixed the Standard Mark label;
