Jointly organised by the Urban Renewal Bureau and Chinachem Group at central markets, the miniature art exhibition "Shaping the Past and The Future" featured 100 works, making it the largest miniature art exhibition in Hong Kong in the past, of which 25 were the debut of new works. The exhibition is divided into six categories, including small shops, festivals, streetscapes, food, architecture and people.
The exhibition invites local miniature artists to reminisce about old Hong Kong scenes with technology, AR technology and computer engraving and animation. Enjoy these 100 miniature works, just like walking through the special attractions of Hong Kong's 18 districts, including central street market, Victoria Harbour fireworks night view, Xiqu Centre, Tai Hang Fire Dragon Dance, Wong Tai Sin Ancestral Hall Windmill Stall, Lan Kwai Fong and so on.
The exhibition is one of the government's activities to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the return to the motherland, and the work "Victoria Harbour" shows the newly completed exhibition station, as well as computer animation simulated fireworks background. In addition, the miniature model of "The Emperor of Kowloon" Zeng Zao Cai recreates the various "ink treasures" left by Zeng Zao Cai everywhere in street electrical boxes, lampposts, walls, and bridge piers.
