So he asked him to calculate his future, and the result was that the official could only be a county order, and he died at the age of 53 and had no heirs for life.
Several things that happened later were counted again, Yuan Huang completely believed in the number of fates, and felt that a person's life's good fortunes, rich and poor, rich and lowly, were all arranged by heaven, and sometimes fate must be finally necessary, and fate should not be forced at any time, so what else is there to work for? From then on, he sighed and his heart was like ashes.
Until he met Yungu Zen Master who told him: If a person is sincere and tireless for good, the number of yin and yang qi will not be allowed to restrain him. On the other hand, if he is unscrupulous and does evil endlessly, the number of yin and yang qi will not be able to keep him. In fact, the fixed number can escape, the fate is established by oneself, the blessing is sought by oneself, and as long as a person works hard sincerely and does more good deeds, there is no one who is not unsensitive.
So Yuan Huang worshiped Yungu Zen Master as his teacher, obtained the method of getting rid of the number of fates, "Gong Passing Grid", changed his name to "Zhi Fan", and from then on, he recorded and reflected on his own merits and deeds every day.
Since then, the things that Mr. Kong has calculated have repeatedly failed, and Yuan Yifan has become even more convinced that fate can be transformed. Later, he continued to swear to do good deeds, not only successfully obtaining children but also being admitted to the ranks and constantly promoting. He even lived to be 73 years old, an extra 20 years.
This is all related to Yuan Yifan's down-to-earth and earnest deeds, he has done countless good deeds in his life, and he has the people in mind and does practical things for the people, and is deeply loved by the people. Later, he wrote down his own experience and admonished future generations.
This is just as the Four Precepts of the Prophet says: Those who aspire to fame will gain fame; those who aspire to be rich and noble will be rich. Man has the will, like a tree with roots, to establish this aspiration, to remember modesty, dust and dust, nature to touch the heavens and the earth, and the benefit to me.
130 years later, a young man named Zeng Guofan, after reading the "Four Trainings of Fan", worked hard and diligently, and finally became the first minister of zhongxing in the late Qing Dynasty.

Yuan Yifan said in the Four Precepts of The Great Fan: "Sincerity is in harmony with heaven, blessings are coming, and it is good to see what is good and will be a prophet." Evil is coming, and if you look at it badly, you will be a prophet. If you want to be blessed and far away from evil now, you must first change it before you do good. ”
This means that the good and evil of a person's mind are related to the heavenly heart. When the blessings are coming, we will be able to foresee what he has done, and if we see that what he has done is good, we will be able to foresee it; and when the calamity is coming, we will certainly be able to foresee it if we see that what he has done is not good.
If you want to avoid misfortune and be blessed, then you must do good deeds, and before you can do good, you must first change. Storing water early to plug leaks, planting flowers and pulling grass first, the reason is the same.
If people do not know how to reform themselves, they have to go high and far, pray for fame and fortune outside the body, even if they exhaust their hearts and minds, they will inevitably end up in a two-headed failure.
Zeng Zi said: "My three provinces and my body; for others and not loyal?" Friends and not convinced? Can't get used to it? ”
Active reflection and finding out one's own faults are the prerequisites for improving luck.
The aforementioned Zeng Guofan is not a genius, nor is he a scholarly disciple, nor is he a rich family, but eventually becoming a perfect person of the "three immortals" has a lot to do with his diligence in self-examination and reform.
In the year of the weak crown, after reading the "Four Precepts of Fan", he suddenly woke up and changed his name to "Di Sheng".
"The one who purifies, takes the dirt of his old stains; the living, take the words of Yuan, 'All things in the past, such as yesterday's death; from the back, such as today's birth'."
Snoozing in bed, unable to get up at dawn, he scolded himself for "doing nothing, shameful"; he wrote poems and poems, searched for chapters and excerpts, and did not use his energy to study useful things such as scripture and history, which he thought was "shameful"; he was bored at home with his wife, and he was immediately alert: "Yu Jin is sullen to this point, and Gai is surrounded by selfish desires and selfish desires, why should he extricate himself!" Determined to rehabilitate this year, restart the furnace, and fight with blood. And half a month, the violent abandonment of one to this point, how to be a person! ”...... After ten years, it has finally come to fruition.
Introspection is a very magical ability, the more powerful this ability is, the more he can become the person he wants to be.
When you become the ideal in your mind, you will find that the heavens will treat you extra favorably, and good luck will come uninvited.

The true meaning of fate: fate is established by me, and blessings are asked for by oneself
In the Four Precepts of the Mortals, it is said, "Fate is made by me, and blessings are sought by oneself." "Our destiny is not predestined by heaven, it is always in our hands, we are the masters of destiny, and fate can be created and changed." It is heaven who makes life, and it is I who make my destiny. As long as you strive to do more good deeds and accumulate yin virtues, you can seek blessings and create people.
Yuan's own experience tells us this, so we must build confidence in changing our destiny.
If a person can be "thick", that is, treat others with kindness and think of others everywhere, this person will have a blessing;
And if a person is "thin", that is, he is mean to others, narrow-minded, and his heart is for his own interests, he will surely suffer disasters, and even if there is a blessing in front of him, the blessing will also be damaged and perished.
Master Liuzhu Huineng once said: "All the blessings of the field, do not leave the square inch, from the heart to find, the feeling is all the same." ”
Buddhism holds that the arising of everything in the universe is the result of karmic inspiration. Therefore, the cycle of birth and death, the retribution of good and evil, is inspired by their own karma.
The main factors that determine a person's wealth and poverty are not feng shui, not constellations, not fate, but a person's "heart field", that is, your thoughts, your character, and your behavior.
In ancient China, there was also a saying that "phases are born from the heart and change with the heart". Therefore, if we single-mindedly cultivate a good heart and do more good deeds, this bright and upright mind will dominate people's body and mind, and evil thoughts will not be able to take advantage of the void.
As long as we wholeheartedly develop a good heart, do good deeds, and positive thoughts appear in front of us, then evil thoughts naturally cannot pollute our hearts.
Even if there are faults and faults, as long as we make a wish to correct them with our hearts, we can return to nature and return to our truest and kindest side.
Sow a deed, reap a habit; sow a habit, reap a character; sow a character, reap a destiny.
As the saying goes: "Man has the will, like a tree with roots, to establish this will, to remember modesty, dust and dust, nature touches the heavens and the earth, and the benefit is up to me." ”
From this, it is also a bright and just future. This is the true meaning of changing destiny.
